Volunteer Opportunities
There are three kinds of people in this world… It makes people think about what category they are in especially when they complain about things not getting done.
Which one are you???

Volunteerism is recognized as a unique American trait.
It is part of what makes our nation great-and safe. There will be a calm sense of security, the feeling of being “looked after” without interference. The fact that you can go away and know your property is being monitored.
Architectural Control/Maintenance Committee
Shall advise the Board of Directors on all matters pertaining to construction of improvements on the properties. It shall watch for any proposals, programs, of activities, which may adversely affect the residential value of the property, shall watch for maters of maintenance, repair, or improvement of the Common Ground(s) and shall advise the Board of Directors of such. Schedule clean up days needed for Common Ground(s). (Weeding, cutting of trees, brush, trash, etc….)
Publicity Committee
Shall inform the members of all activities and functions of the Association and shall, after consulting with the Board of Directors, make such public releases and announcements. Write and distribute the newsletter by monthly.
Recreation Committee
Shall advise the Board of Directors on all matters pertaining to the recreational program and activities of the Association and shall perform such functions (annual picnic, etc…)
Welcoming Committee
Shall inform the Board of Directors of new homeowners, be in control of the Welcoming Funds, and greet homeowners with a welcoming gift, check to see if they have a trash receptacle.
Block Captains
Shall have the duty to contact a board member or contact emergency services when needed. Give notification of someone moving in or out on your block. Notice violations of the CCR’s and/or Bylaws and City Codes, unusual, suspicious, abnormal and/or illegal activity, notification of a birth, illness or a death, disturbing animals, and just general keeping watch on homes and neighbors while home or away — (vacation, work, etc…)
